The Paddo Pop-Up From Vietnam

The Paddo Pop-Up From Vietnam

Fancy a visit to Vietnam?

If the chronic wanderlust has you reaching for your sick days and you’ve found yourself wishing frequent flyer points gained interest, we’ve found your travel-bug-approved reprieve.

The team behind Ngon Brisbane have also been cuddling their passports at night, so they’ve decided to bring the bustling streets of South East Asia to BNE. Growing up in a large family where you ate what you were given, the name of the pop-up at 257 Given Terrace was a given (no, literally – it’s Given).

Over the coals of the charcoal pit, fresh seafood and locally sourced meat and vegetables are slathered in marinades finessed over years in the hospitality industry and grilled to perfection. With boutique wines, craft beers, and tantalising cocktails to accompany the mouth-watering skewers, it’s authentic food served with a modern Asian twist. And with a resident DJ turning high energy records into the night, you’ll be sure to visit Given again and again over its 12-month stay.

A laidback breakfast is also on the cards, pouring coffee in collaboration with Paddington’s very own The Black Lab Coffee Co. From the karaage chicken benny to the chilli scrambled eggs with feta and romesco sauce, you’ll be in vaycay mode all meal long.
