What came first, the chicken or the egg? Who cares! Lucky Egg is here and it’s bound to be clucking delicious!
From June 25, a site-specific shipping container eatery will offer free range, locally sourced and mouth-watering chicken with its take on the American meets Asian street food trend.
Their cracking new menu will send your tastebuds soaring with their salty, crunchy, juicy, alcohol absorbing fried chook, with the tasty Dorito crumbed popcorn chicken, Buffalo crispy chicken burger and buttermilk coated chicken cuts sure to do the trick.
If you don’t want to hop straight into a chicken feast (umm, why not?), you can start with a melting mozzarella stick, the Hellman’s slaw or a seasonal salad.
They’ll also offer cheap-cheap meal-deals, like fiddy cent wing specials on Wednesdays and hot malasada donuts (Portuguese-style deep fried dough) on Thursdays to have Brisbane foodies regularly sticking their beak into the Fortitude Valley shipping container outside The Brightside.
Don’t get your feathers into a twist with lines, because you can skip the feed line and order ahead using the StreetEats app when you’re heading into their neighbourhood. The team will also be introducing party-catering options shortly.
