A first for the Gemelli Group!

Get set to unbutton your jeans after dinner, because we have the deets on Gemelli Italian’s highly anticipated Brisbane opening!

When the news first wafted that Gold Coast’s renowned pizza and pasta paradise was making its way up north, food lovers swooned. Situated in the corner of McLachlan and James Street, the restaurant will be revived into a rustic nook fit with timber arches, soaring windows, and a bespoke pizza oven from Naples, that is set to take you from work to play, the Italian way.

But Gemelli isn’t the only new resident on our favourite swanky street! The team will also be launching Bar Tano – a 55-seat Italian street bar that will be sitting pretty next to the restaurant. With a moodier vibe executed in striking green marble, polished concrete, and an illuminated bar, it’s Aperitivo hour every hour.

The Gemelli menu will be similar to the OG Broadbeach offering, with a curated selection of Italian classics made with generational recipes, such as the revered gnocchi zucca, polpo alla giglia with grilled WA octopus, and Roma pizza topped with burrata. Meanwhile, the Milan-inspired Bar Tano will feature a rotating menu of small bites and classic Italian refreshments.

I hear you drooling, and I know what you came here for: when? This September – catch ya there!
