Damian Griffiths' newest venture Doughnut Time has arrived!

The wait for highly anticipated Doughnut Time is over.

With 2015 bringing food trends back to basics, you can say goodbye to the cronut trend and hello to good old-fashioned doughnuts. The newest food baby of Brisbane hospitality guru, Damian Griffiths, will provide Brisbanites with glazed, filled and sprinkled delights, day and night, from the end of this month.

Doughnut Time will stand in the alcove just outside of the Alfredo’s Pizzeria on Alfred Street in the Fortitude Valley, where Griffiths’ other restaurants already dominate the 'hood.

The menu of flavour combinations has been collaboratively created by both Damian and his loyal customers, who’ve been submitting ideas on social media since the news broke of the opening. He’s travelled high and low for the best doughnut recipes, scouring the US – home of the d’oh-nut – for the best recipes, glazes, toppings and fillings to ensure his doughnuts will satisfy any sweet craving.

Some of the flavours already announced are Salted Caramel & Popcorn, Rainbow Nerds and Lemon Cheesecake, with the yeast-raised doughnuts to be made fresh every day. That’s the difference between just any old doughnut and this newest Brisbane establishment – quality.  Not only are they delicious, but doughnuts have been trending all over the foodie scene, with fashionistas like Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad and Julie Sarinana from Sincerely Jules posting their cheat day goodies over their Instagram pages.

Doughnut Time is offering one of the first 100 doughnut-fanatics through their doors the chance to win a year’s supply of doughnuts, that’s one box of doughnuts a week for 52 weeks!

Get down to the Valley for the opening of what’s sure to be your next go-to spot for a late night (or any time) treat.

Doughnut Time will be open seven days a week, day and night, and will even do deliveries to the Valley and CBD.
