Dinner has never sounded so good

If moshpit madness was never your vibe or if you just miss the catchy charm of Brisbane’s most-loved music venue, then prep your fork (in more ways than one) because we have news. For the first time in 103 years, The Tivoli is opening up to intimate groups for an evening of decadence, divine food and – as per usual – even better music.

Welcome to Commune at The Tivoli.

“COVID-19 has changed the way people are allowed to gather and experience live music, so instead of focusing on what we can’t do during this time, we’re focusing on what we can,” says Co-Owner and Creative Director, Dave Sleswick. “We’ve brought in the experts to deliver Brisbane’s best food and wine, allowing The Tivoli to do what we do best; bringing unforgettable events to life with the city’s best live music, entertainment, and a guaranteed bloody good time.”

Forget your usual at home dinner parties because Commune at The Tivoli is sure to be a one-night wonder. Groups of 10 will have exclusive access to the historic venue and will be greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival, followed by a seated four course meal by Dalton Catering & Events and featuring acts from charcuterie and matched wines by Bacchus Wine Merchants. There’s even caviar and oysters available, if you’re feeling fancy.

There’s no need to take a gamble on a generic Spotify playlist because your night will be to the tune of your own sound through CrowdDJ by Nightlife played on The Tivoli’s world class sound system. Or, be true to the location with the option of booking a live band or DJ for the night, which The Tivoli will hand pick to ensure they provide the soundtrack of your dreams.

If that’s not enough, you can go full rockstar with all the very extra extras. History buffs can enjoy an Access All Areas historical tour of the venue, led by owners Dave and Steve Sleswick. Full venue and table theming can easily be added on for fans of dress up, as well as a professional photographer to capture it all. Or, really up the ante with a murder mystery or poker night!
