Eating out and about is one of life’s greatest joys in my books, but boy-oh-boy it can break the bank. From date nights to the regular catch-up with friends, Brisbane has it all and offers up the goods when it comes to eating out. With money on our mind and fun to be had, we’ve rounded-up the best in the food biz’ that’s both easy on the wallet but packed with a punch. Cue the ambience, food comas and savings increase!

Ben’s Burgers | Fortitude Valley

All the pickings from Ben’s Burg’s are $12, meaning plenty of leftover dosh for extras such as cheese, jalapeños, or candied bacon. The house-made ginger ale with spiced rum is primo as well.

The Morrison Hotel | Wooloongabba

We like to call this one, ‘High Steaks’. Why eat steak anywhere other than one of Brisbane’s best steakhouses? Choose from a mouth-watering range of premium cuts like dry aged, Wagyu or their king of cuts: rib on the bone and pair it with Morrison’s famous twice baked house potato, house-made sauce and signature salad for a match made in medium rare heaven. Ya-um!

XXXX Alehouse | Milton

Pizza is probably the best beer food there is. The XXXX Brewery’s BBQ meatlovers pizza uses smoked ham, hot salami and house made pork and fennel sausage, all free-range, on an organic woodfired base. What makes it so indulgent then? All-you-can-eat pizza night every Wednesday!
