Sometimes you just can’t say no to a delicious, succulent and perfectly-glazed pork dish. Sometimes? Sorry, I meant you can NEVER say no. It’s basically a crime to decline! Since there are oh-so-many different ways you can have your pork and eat it too, we’ve tracked down the seven BEST pork dishes to try here in Brisbane for National Pork Month in October! From pasta dishes to a classic roast, you won’t be disappointed with these diverse and equally delicious meals. Oink oink!

Rosticciana Di Maiale | Bar Alto, New Farm

This Italian restaurant sure knows how to do pork ribs! Try their pork spare ribs with delicious agro dolce, endive and apple slaw with hand-cut chips.

Sticky Pork Breakfast Burrito| Primal Pantry, Paddington

For breakfast done differently, try Primal Pantry’s Sticky Pork Breakfast Burrito. This comes with pickled cucumber, BBQ sauce and a fried egg. Perfect for Paleo lovers!

Maple Glazed Pork | Pony Dining, Brisbane

Head to Pony Dining at Eagle Street Pier for their succulent Maple Glazed Pork dish. The meal also consists of a salad of coal roasted pear, radicchio, hazelnut and ricotta. Yum!

Pork Knuckle | Haxen Haus at Oktoberfest Brisbane, Bowen Hills

Don’t miss out on pork knuckle at Oktoberfest Brisbane this year! Haxen Haus is at it again, serving pork knuckles with gravy, creamy mashed potato and Sauerkraut. Don’t forget to dress up!

Ragu Alla Bolognese | The Spaghetti House Trattoria, South Brisbane

If you’re a sucker for pasta, you can’t go past this flavoursome bolognese at The Spaghetti House! Enjoy slow-cooked pork and beef with soffritto, wine and tomato.

Tiki Pork Belly Skewers | Kwan Brothers, Fortitude Valley

Why not try pork belly in a different form? These coal-fired Berkshire pork skewers with Asian pineapple salsa are out of this world! Kwan Brothers always does it right.

Roast Pork | Alfred & Constance, Fortitude Valley

Nothing beats a good ol’ roast, and this favourite from Alfred & Constance is too good to pass up! Carved from the whole hog and served with apple sauce, crackling, coleslaw and fries you won’t be disappointed!
