Brisbane Welcomes Burger Project

Ice-cream and burgers? Yes, please!

If you love a great burger and you’re searching for the perfect place to satisfy all your cravings, you’re in for a treat. We are excited to announce the Burger Project will launch on Friday, February 17 at the new Southpoint precinct in South Bank.

If you’ve been to Melbourne or Sydney and were lucky enough to try one of their amazing burgers, then you know that this is a big deal!


The Burger Project is brought to you by Rockpool Group Dining. From 11am on launch day, Neil Perry will be personally greeting customers and handcrafting delicious burgers made from the finest Australian beef.

“It’s long been our goal to add Brisbane to our East Coast road-trip,” Perry says.

The eighth Burger Project in the country and the first in Queensland, South Bank’s Burger Project will replicate a smart and casual interior similar to that of the Sydney and Melbourne stores.

The menu features 14 delicious handcrafted burgers showcasing 36-month, grass-fed Cape Grim beef from Tasmania, and free-range Lily-dale chicken as well as a vegetarian option – the magic mushroom. From salted chips to house-churned soft serve, what more could you want?

But of course there’s more! All shaken, spritzed and brewed in-house, Burger Project offers classic shakes, sodas, iced teas and exclusive Project wines made in South Australia by Jeffrey Grosset. Burger Project’s exclusive Pilsner and craft beers by Urban Craft Brewing Co are also available.


“We’re spreading our love of quality ingredients sourced from reputable and admirable local producers, served in a quick, convenient and relaxed setting all the way to the Sunshine State,” says Perry.

From Monday, February 20, Burger Project will also be open for breakfast from 8am-11am. Start your day off with bacon and eggs, BLTs, ELTs (egg, lettuce, tomato), mushroom and egg burgers and potato gems – all we can say is yum!

Freshly-squeezed orange juice will be on the menu as well and for all those coffee enthusiasts out there you will get your caffeine fix thanks to boutique Victorian coffee roaster Market Lane.

We can’t seem to fault the Burger Project’s menu. If you’re in the area and fancy a delicious meal, don’t miss the launch!
