Guys, we have an update!

Didn’t we warn you that this bad boy would sell out? However, the Fish Lane gods have smiled down upon us and have announced a second day for the festival! After a phenomenal response to the festival announcement, the team decided that they would add Wednesday to the schedule, with the second leg of the festival running Wednesday 15th 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

To further accompany the delicious line up of this year’s cocktails, they have also announced the final three new cocktails available at this year’s festival.

  • Patron Blanco Tequila, Mr. Blacks coffee liqueur, agave and Fonzie Abbott coffee
  • Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey with Mr. Blacks coffee liqueur and cold drip coffee
  • Paddy’s Irish Whiskey with Mr. Blacks coffee liqueur and nitro coffee by Inspire

This is seriously epic news and a welcome intermission to our work week. Espresso Martini Festival returning for the second year and setting up in Fish Lane alongside the Hello Please and Ol’ School teams, the festival is our chance to indulge in 1 or 2 (or 8 or 9…) of our favourite cocktail: a frothy, handsome espresso martini.

Hell. Yes!

Maris Cook, of South Brisbane’s beloved Hello Please, says “After the success of the event last year, it was a no-brainer to bring back the Espresso Martini Festival to the thriving Brisbane dining precinct Fish Lane. This year guests can expect to enjoy a range of different twists on classic espresso martinis, paired with the delicious flavours of Hello Please and Ol’ School.”

Brisbane’s Espresso Martini Festival Is Returning This August

This year’s cocktail lineup includes a drool-worthy condensed milk ice cream & cold drip vanilla martini (quite a mouthful), as well as a rum & salted golden syrup espresso martini. Three more pours are set to be announced soon and we are already frothing in anticipation.

Keep cravings in line with a menu of street food such as a spicy fish cake bao, potato scallop Szechuan curry mayo, prawn crackers or keep things classic with a fish dim sim – all ready to be washed down by handcrafted-cocktails.

To save you from bouncing off the walls, the festival will also offer a range of 4 Pines beer, Save our Souls wine and a range of soft drinks.

Fish Lane’s Brooklyn inspired laneway vibes are once again the perfect backdrop for the festival, with the space being brought to life with creative pop up bars, shared lounge spaces, and industrial styling from event experts Brandition.
