Why not cure that Saturday night hangover at Sunday morning brekky? Yes, the secret’s out. Your favourite Brisbane breakfast spots in town just so happen to turn into bars at night. No need to continue searching for that perfect new place for drinks!

1. Darling & Co | Paddington

Tucked away in the heart of Paddington, Darling & Co is the perfect place for brunch or casual drinks with friends. And if you’re craving a drink, Darling & Co has a vast selection of beverages to choose from. From boutique wines to hand-crafted beers and even a large selection of cocktails, you’re spoilt for choice. P.S: Try the 10 Days in Tahiti! It’s pure genius.

2. The Manhattan Line | South Bank

Known for its New York-inspired street food, The Manhattan Line serves up the best savoury waffles in town and whiskey, whiskey… oh and whiskey. If you’re looking for a new place for drinks or breakfast, this is the place to go.

3. The Charming Squire | South Brisbane

The Charming Squire is known for delicious craft beers and ciders on tap, as well as a tasty breakfast menu available until 11am every day. Enjoy a charming early breakfast made from the best or swing past after work for sweet tunes and great drinks.

4. Ole | South Bank

Wait, Ole does brekky? We all know about the tapas and drinks but they also have a great Spanish-inspired breakfast menu. Give it a go and drop past on Sunday morning to try one of their baked egg dishes – you will not be disappointed!

The Pearl has an enormous breakfast following, but there’s also a full bar available if you wanting something in a tucked-away and vintage location.

6. Next Door Kitchen and Bar | South Brisbane

This is the place to be on the weekends! Sophistication is a central element that ties together the great food and fantastic drinks. If you’re out early on a Sunday morning, don’t forget to sample their breakfast as well.

7. Gerard’s Bistro | Fortitude Valley

You can’t go wrong with a famous Lebanese-style iced tea and a great range of breakfast choices. Plus, Gerard’s Bistro offers wines, beers and cocktails from all around the world so there’s an option for everyone.

8. Miss Kay’s | Brisbane

Believe it or not, Miss Kay’s puts on quite the spread for breakfast. Their sausage party burger is made up of two pork and parsley chipolatas, American cheese and eggs on an English muffin… um, yum! And Miss Kay’s has a full bar available as well, with $5 basics.
