The Belgian Beer Café has made way for Brisbane’s latest and largest all American restaurant and bar, Buffalo Bar.
Owner Simon O’Brien (pictured), also of Mighty Mighty Cue & Brew, describes his new venture as, “Creating the perfect American trifecta of food, drink and spirit; the menu has been completed ensuring the American experience is always present.”
"Where Mighty offers a very modern take on American cuisine and ambiance, Buffalo prides itself with an overtly all-American attitude towards food, drink, venue and ambience."
From an incredible 18 varieties of buffalo wings to 25 US craft beers on tap (some of which can only be enjoyed at Buffalo) and a comprehensive list of whiskeys and cocktails, no detail has been skipped in creating this unique location.
“It has references to the very varied states of America - whether that be the charm of the southern states echoed in the Victorian-era romance of the heritage listed building; the sophistication of the indoor whiskey bar that reflects aspects of Buffalo and NYC; and the Californian cool of the outdoor craft beer garden reflecting the West Coast’s relaxed, sunny outlook,” Simon says.
It differs from other USA style offerings in Brisbane because of its sheer size for one, but also its infectious atmosphere, nostalgic feel, and of course the commitment to the authentic American experience that very few places can emulate.
Buffalo is for everyone and every occasion – dress codes needn’t apply. You can enjoy after work drinks in the craft beer garden, a range of cocktails and whiskeys in the indoor whiskey lounge or organize your next event in the dining hall that can sit up to 80 people.
Described by Simon as, “a place of reprieve in the bustling city, a place to indulge the senses in a visceral feast for the soul,” Buffalo Bar will be open from 11am – late, 7 days per week.
