Spring has just sprung and what better way to welcome the warm weather than by revamping your wardrobe, inspired by the Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collections of course.
Shoulder Exposure

Zimmermann, 3.1 Philip Lim and Prabal Garung all embraced the 'shoulder'. Images: Style.com
3.1 Philip Lim, Prabal Gurung, Victoria Beckham and Zimmerman featured cutout shoulder details, off-shoulder sleeves or halter styles in their collections that New York fashionista Nicole Phelps described as “Spring 2015’s answer to the bare midriff”.
A-Line
In continuation of the 90s resurgence, slightly oversized and straight figures featured in the collections of Adam Lippes, Lacoste, Thakoon, Rag & Bone, Derek Lam and Coach (remember those clunky, wooden, closed-toe clogs circa ’96? Well they’re back).
Sheer Desire

Sheer chiffon skirts and whimsical outer wear with appliqué details are clearly going to be a big trends as seen at the shows of Milly, Zana Bayne, Charlotte Ronson, Alexander Wang, Christian Siriano and Jason Wu.
Catching Waves

Curvy, wave-like details and ruffled hemlines were seen in the shows of Prabal Gurung, 3.1 Philip Lim, Victoria Beckham, Alexander Wang, Rosie Assoulin, Ohne Titel and Hervé Léger by Max Azaria.
La Bella Figura
Cushnie et Ochs, Donna Karan and Altuzarra went against the 90s grain and opted for more classically feminine and figure-hugging silhouettes. Hemlines were kept at the above-the-knee grazing midi length, contrasted with plunging V-necklines. Mamma mia! What a sexy combo.
Urban Safari

Thom Browne, Edun, Karen Walker, Victoria Bechkam, Zero + Maria Cornejo, Opening Ceremony and Jason Wu (literally with his khaki, foliage prints) provided some tailored structure and masculine pieces to the springtime showcase.
