High-street giants Topshop have unveiled their latest collaboration with Marques Almeida, revealing pops of colour and a penchant for all things 90s.
We’ve always lived by the number one rule of fashion – the rule that in general, there actually are no rules. First and foremost, it’s always been about fun for us, no matter what the occasion, so when we heard that one of our favourites designers - a design duo that seems to live by the same rules – were collaborating with one of our favourite stores, our little ol’ hearts skipped a beat.
Marques Almeida - made up of London based, Portuguese bred designers, Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida -have been riding on a high wave of success lately coming off the back end of London Fashion Week, and now seems a better time than ever for the two to collaborate with the high street giant.
The edgy collection emulates the high-spirited and radiant 90s babe of your dreams with acidic pops of colour splashed on relaxed silks, fluffy sheepskins and their notorious distressed, frayed denim. We were lucky enough to get our hands on a few key pieces in the collection to shoot a special little editorial for Style readers. You can get your own slice of the collection as it is in store and online now!
