“Style has to be a reflection of your personality and mine is edgy and out there.”

How would you describe your style?

It definitely pushes boundaries. Style has to be a reflection of your personality and mine is edgy and out there. But there is also a classic component that is timeless and never goes out of style.

How do you dress for work?

Always in M.J. Bale and always in a suit. I like to go for the wow factor as well as showcase the quality and style that is M.J. Bale.

What’s your go-to item/what do you live in?

Definitely shorts and a tee! Simple, easy and doesn’t need to be ironed.

Do you follow any fashion rules?

There’s rules?! I more trust my instinct on what looks good on me. I definitely like to be on trend but fashion rules don’t dominate my purchasing. Fashion is about confidence. If you feel good in something chances are you will be confident and charismatic and that’s the biggest part of the battle.

What’s your fashion mantra?

Style with comfort.

Any fashion faux pas?

I did wear a wide check suit once which everyone told me looked like pyjamas… I still wore it anyway.

Whose celebrity style do you admire?

Justin Timberlake. He’s just so cool!

You’re most indulgent fashion purchase?

Limited Edition Tag Heuer watch.

What’s your favourite new-season trend?

You can’t go wrong with a good quality, well-tailored suit, but for every day it’s a great pair of chinos teamed with a short sleeve button down and a pair of boaties. Perfect for the Australian lifestyle.

What fashion trend will you never try?

Short swim shorts.

Your favourite clothing store outside of Brisbane (or online)?

No need, I’m lucky that everything I need comes from M.J. Bale

What do you think is the most important thing for women when it comes to fashion?

Dress for your shape! So many women want to follow trends, however fashion is about class and confidence and most importantly looking great. Every woman should have a few classic go to pieces in her wardrobe that flatter and inspire.

Do you prefer…

Boxers or briefs? Briefs.
Smart suits or cool casual? Definitely suits.
Short back and sides or a little scruffy? Short back and sides.

Where can we find you…..

On a Saturday night? Depends, more than likely in Brisbane - Cloudland.
On a Sunday morning? Warming up for a day of cricket or golf.
On your next holiday? Las Vegas!
