St. Agni Presents Resort 2026 On Its Own Terms In Armadale
Restraint in motion
By Kiri Johnston | 23rd October 2025Australian fashion brand St. Agni stepped away from the traditional runway format this season, unveiling Resort 2026 inside its Armadale boutique in Melbourne. It was the label’s first see-now, buy-now presentation, held off-schedule and in its own space.
Models moved through textured walls, restored heritage details and curated vintage furniture. The setting reflected St. Agni’s focus on intimacy, tactility and clothes designed to be lived in rather than staged.
Strength and softness
Resort 2026 is St. Agni’s most expansive wardrobe to date, spanning ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, swim and eyewear — all presented together for the first time. Creative Director Lara Fells describes the collection as an exploration of strength and softness.
Circular and hourglass silhouettes anchor the shapes. Fluid silk, sheer layering and balletic touches meet brushed leather and belted waists, creating a quiet balance of structure and ease.

Key details
Key pieces include the Sheer Silk Circle-Hem Dress designed to move with light, hand-finished brushed leather garments with unique surface treatment, and silk innovations including stretch, embellished and refined blends. The palette stays grounded in tones of Liqueur, Rum, Doe, Mocha, Mousse and Pink Salt.
The collection is available to preview online from today, ahead of its full release on October 23, 2025.

Why Armadale
Rather than showing on schedule, St. Agni presented Resort 26 in the place its clothes live. Designed in collaboration with Studio McQualter, the Armadale boutique blends restored heritage elements, contemporary restraint and curated vintage furniture. The presentation blurred the line between runway and retail, inviting guests to experience the garments up close — to touch, try and own.
Behind the collection
Makeup by MERIT focused on natural, polished skin with soft contour and matte neutral lips. Hair by Mr. Smith was kept clean and refined, working with each model’s natural texture.

From Byron Bay to now
Founded by Lara and Matt Fells, St. Agni began in Byron Bay and has evolved from handwoven leather accessories to an internationally recognised design studio. Today, the brand operates boutiques in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Byron Bay, alongside a global online presence and more than 100 stockists.
Despite its growth, the brand’s design language remains rooted in restraint, longevity and clothing that lives beyond a single season.
