Say My Name: 10 Serious Fashion Staples You Can Monogram or Personalise

If you liked it then you should’ve put your name on it.

By Candice Jackson | 9th June 2016

I might not have the most uncommon name around, but as a kid I definitely struggled to find a fridge magnet, door hanger or silicone mug with my name on it. Even as an adult, I’m still missing out – the Boost Juice What’s Your Name Game and Coca-Cola personalised bottle promos have been dissing me for years.

Well, NO LONGER. Monogramming and personalising is back and I’m going to put my name on everything. EVERYTHING. Take that, Amys, Jessicas and Rebeccas of the world!

10 Serious Fashion Staples to Personalise

Personalisation and monogramming are allowing fashionistas everywhere to make their mark on luxury goods. This chic trend is especially perfect for our fashion and style staples, and people are going mad for it! If you can hear your six-year-old self saying “I don’t see your name on it!”, here’s how to shut up that internal gremlin and make something fashionably yours:

1. Jewellery

Having something that’s truly one-of-a-kind gives you a little buzz, especially when everybody compliments it and it becomes a conversation starter or a staple piece that you feel naked without. Whether it’s a ring, bracelet or necklace, there are plenty of ways to make your mark on your signature piece.

2. Handbags

Many luxury bag retailers offer monogramming options for their totes, handbags and clutches. But if you’re saving up for the handbag of your dreams, you might want to consider Mon Purse, as they allow you to design it, customise it and put your name on it!

3. Scarves

Celebrities have taken to the monogram craze, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Cara Delevingne and Olivia Palermo all spotted with their own personalised Burberry scarves.

4. Personalised Plates
