This LA-Based Jewellery Brand With Brisbane Roots Is Hosting A Trunk Show At The Calile Hotel

the finer things in life

By Victoria Lewis | 22nd April 2026

It’s a US-born business founded by a Brisbane-born-and-bred woman, Real Fine Studio, which is globally expanding, introducing a series of trunk shows that bring its heirloom-quality fine jewellery to Aussie shores.

This international trip is described as a “full circle moment” by founder Eliza O’Connor, who grew up in Brisbane before launching her Business in Los Angeles, and a marker of growing local demand.

Following an elegant soiree to launch their Sydney trunk shows last week, Real Fine Studio will travel to exclusive Brisbane and Melbourne locations, where those devoted to the brand can take a look at the dazzling collection up close. Here is everything you need to know about the month-long residency.

Next stop, Brisbane

Marking the second stop on its Australian tour – after a stint in Sydney last week – Real Fine Studios will descend upon fittingly elegant The Calile Hotel for just two days only (April 23 and 24), with appointment-only viewings available to view the cult-like jewellery brand in person.

The brand will then travel to Melbourne, hosting their final showings from a private residence in Armadale on May 1 and 2. Each appointment is 45 minutes in duration, with limited spots available at each location, so of course, bookings are essential.

Known for unique cuts, custom engagement rings, and accessible luxury, Real Fine Studio offers timeless pieces for the modern woman, all handcrafted in LA.

Brisbane-Born, LA-loved

After forging a different path for herself, launching in LA in 2021, Brisbane-born Eliza O’Connor brings her brand home after seeing 250% growth in 2024-25. She’s more than established her brand in the US market, and is taking this opportunity to nurture the already strong connection she has to her client base in her home country, with Australia being Real Fine’s second largest market at 20%.

This curated Australian in-person showing will be complemented by a launch with its first Australian retail partner, signalling a more permanent and ongoing investment in the local market for the brand.

The brand’s physical presence has already made waves, so much so that Sydney appointments sold out within six hours of release. If you, too, would like to secure an appointment in Brisbane or Melbourne in the coming weeks, book now here.
