Arbiters of style gathered to celebrate the birth of Brisbane’s newest fashion boutique, Mura Boutique. The Valentine’s Day themed fashion show, Mura in Love, featured feminine florals, sultry reds and luxe leather numbers. Chokers, tartan and midriff tops also made an appearance - a clear nod to the 90s street-style movement currently dominating the overseas market.
Seated in the front row were some of Brisbane’s most influential fashion writers, stylists and models, including model Gabby Epstein, Moda Creative’s Nicole Maree, and Vivien’s casting agent Ella Golding.
Guests were served champagne and cupcakes on arrival, as guitarist Daniel Everett provided a charming soundtrack to the event.
CEO and founder of Mura Boutique, Asako Nakamura, said the show was a complete success and guests had an extremely enjoyable time.
“The fashion show was a great way to provide the Indooroopilly store with some exposure and showcase what Mura Boutique is all about,” she said.
Asako said she hopes to break into the Brisbane market by providing something that other retails fail to deliver.
“Our brand is about being unique, fresh, bright and beautiful and we always aim to reinvent ourselves to keep our customers excited and wanting more,” Asako said.
Mura Boutique currently has stores in Indooroopilly, Noosa Civic Centre and Sunshine Plaza.
