Worn by the likes of Man Repeller blogger Leandra Medine, Oracle Fox blogger Amanda Shadforth, Rachael Finch and Jessinta Campbell, featured in publications such as Vogue China, and adored by all the Style staff – the Molten Store brand is a local treasure of pretty accessories and curious gifts that we can’t get enough of!
Molten Store owner Jessy Cameron launched the brand from a Teneriffe apartment in 2011, grew to have her own flagship boutique on James Street in May 2015 and this week has revealed a second glittering treasure trove within Westfield Carindale. Southsiders, now you too can shop the pretty!
In a milestone moment for the brand, Molten Store will neighbour Sass & Bide at Westfield Carindale, where the glimmering jewels and otherworldly trinkets and accessories will hold pride of place. Jessy says she’s also stocking an array of "objet trouvés" (found objects), such as crystal stones, shells and magical trinkets collected in the 1960s by intrepid explorer Judy Cuppaidge, who was a botanical artist and horticulturalist who travelled to Hawaii, Fiji, and beyond in pursuit of inspiration.
“Judy’s treasures were given to me by her daughter-in-law, who says she could think of no better home for them than Molten Store.
“I’m delighted to bring Molten Store’s intriguing spirit to Westfield,” says Jessy.
And what’s the best way to celebrate new beginnings? With doughnuts of course!
Molten Store and Doughnut Time seem to agree, as they teamed up to released a signature doughnut to gift to shoppers, along with a limited edition necklace, at Molten Store’s grand opening event in store on Saturday October 3.
So what does a Molten Store doughnut taste like? Besides glittery dreams and unicorn tears, it’s a hand-glazed doughnut, embellished with edible gold foil and pearl droplets and metallic gems.
Keep an eye out for more exciting announcements from Molten Store, such as a bridal range launching in store in the coming weeks and the reveal of a new signature scent for RESORT.
