In August this year, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival will return to Brisbane with a fresh new face that you may recognise.
The MBFFB team is proud to unveil the gorgeous Grace Simmons as the face in the official hero shoot for the fashion festival. The Brisbane local has skyrocketed to fashion fame recently and now divides her time between New York and Paris, walking for the likes of Valentino, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Saint Laurent and more.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane Director, Lindsay Bennett, was thrilled to secure Grace for the hero image shoot. “Grace is such a talented model. She has a really unique look and everything about her says ‘high fashion’. It’s little wonder she has found such incredible success internationally.
We were delighted to be able to book Grace for the hero shoot while she’s back home,” Mr Bennett said.
“The whole team is thrilled with the outcome of the shoot, which really showcases what the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane is about – promoting Queensland fashion talent. We have a local model wearing a local designer, both of whom have found great recognition and success in the industry.”
Photographed at the magnificent St John’s Cathedral, which marks a special destination for an off-site Fashion Festival runway show this year, the shot captures the fresh, unique and fashion-forward nature of Queensland and Australia’s fashion industry.
Grace wears a stunning gown by renowned Brisbane designer and couturier, George Wu, and is accompanied by the stylish Mercedes-Benz E400 Cabriolet.
We don’t know about you, but we’re already on the countdown to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane, which will run from Sunday 26 – Thursday 30 August.
