Manning Cartell’s Autumn Winter 2015 collection ‘Games Of Scale’ is soon to hit Australian stores. Renowned for their distinctive balance of luxury and utility in their designs, the new collection stays true to the brand’s aesthetic.
‘Games Of Scale’ has undertones of the 1920s and 30s, merging day and night with luxury and utility. With wildly contrasting prints and palettes, the silhouettes are raw yet refined with modern tailoring, soft dressing, uneven proportions and layers. A colour spectrum of blue from midnight to chambray creates colour harmonies with greys and camel tones. Icy pastel shades offer a delicate blend against pewter metallics while brights of infrared and cerulean introduce striking pops of colour. Novelty patterns and metallic finishes are featured on rich, textured fabrics such as perforated mesh, bonded jersey and modular fabrics for a sporty femininity.
The collection will debut at the Lead The Filed Designer Showcase at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre on March 11. The collection will be showcased along with autumn winter collections from Australian and international designers such as Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, Carla Zampatti and Sass and Bide.
