Inside My Inbox: What’s Catching My Eye Right Now
What caught my eye
By Kiri Johnston | 20th November 2025If there’s one thing I love about my job (and yes, what also keeps me awake some nights), it’s my inbox. It’s where the early whispers of new launches land – the unexpected, the beautifully considered, and the things that stop me mid-scroll. Here’s a look inside – the fashion news that’s caught my eye this week.
REBE returns
REBE has brought back The Yvie Wedge in Plum Brown, and it’s one of those shoes you don’t realise you need until you see it styled with literally anything. It gives “I put thought into this” energy without actually requiring any. A good summer staple that isn’t trying too hard – I’d wear it with anything.
ESSE Studios x TheEND
ESSE collaborating with TheEND feels like two worlds that already understood each other, quietly stepping into the same room. TheEND has always had that sculptural, intentional sensibility, and ESSE brings that same minimal emotional intelligence to clothing. The result? Pieces and objects that belong together.
Nagnata Sundown Swim
Nagnata’s Sundown Swim capsule feels like the brand doubling down on what it does best — pieces that fit real days, not just idyllic holiday moments. I love the practicality of swim that can take you from a beach dip to Pilates without having to pack several outfits in a gym bag. Sculpted, supportive, and easy. Exactly what you want when you want to keep it simple.
Albus Lumen x DOTSHOP
DOTSHOP has just announced its exclusive global partnership with Albus Lumen, and Marina Afonina’s Resort ’26 collection – AMOR – has officially landed. It marks the brand’s ten-year milestone, and you can feel that sense of nostalgia and intimacy threaded through every piece. Soft, feminine, quietly confident – it’s Albus Lumen at its most reflective.
Acne Studios at Camargue
Camargue has dropped a fresh round of Acne Studios, and it’s full of the things that make me lean in: slouchy denim that actually sits right, scarves with personality, and structured tees that immediately make you feel more competent. You’ll walk in for ‘just a browse’ and walk out with a new uniform.
The Louboutin Bar
David Jones Elizabeth Street has opened a Louboutin-themed bar, and honestly, it’s just… fun. Cocktails, Lune pastries, a bit of red-soled drama, and the novelty of champagne before midday – no complaints here. It’s a little theatrical in the best way and a nice excuse to indulge for no real reason at all.
Permanent Vacation’s Aura
PV took their Aura collection to New York, and the photos are just… really nice. Soft shapes, clean lines, and that mix of city grit and minimal styling that makes you want to simplify everything – or at least clean out your wardrobe.
Jac + Jack x Gwinganna
Gwinganna has teamed up with Jac + Jack and Subtle Energies for The Gift of Wellness – a three-way partnership that feels incredibly aligned. Jac + Jack’s calm, refined aesthetic meets Gwinganna’s slow-living philosophy, brought together with Subtle Energies’ ritual-driven skincare. The result is a thoughtful, very Australian take on wellness and design – soft, simple, and beautifully considered.
Courtney Zheng’s MONOLITH
Courtney Zheng does structure so well, and MONOLITH doubles down on that. Sharp lines, considered fabrics, and pieces that feel polished without being stiff. It’s the kind of collection that quietly raises your standards. Consider me influenced.
Jimmy Choo Bridal
Jimmy Choo’s bridal edit is pure joy — satin, shine, and shoes that make any outfit feel important. Bride or guest, you’ll find a pair that makes you want to RSVP ‘yes’ immediately.
Ksubi Pre-Spring ‘26
Ksubi’s Pre-Spring ’26 drop leans into its playful side – sharp cutouts, crystal detailing, and that signature denim attitude. It has the confident, going-out energy you’d expect from the brand… and yes, very much something Pip Edwards would pull off effortlessly.
Chinatown Country Club
CCC has released a holiday gift edit that genuinely takes the pressure off shopping for the hard-to-buy-for people in your life. It’s clever, a little left-of-centre, and full of pieces that feel thoughtful without being predictable. With curated objects, wearable bits, and things you won’t spot on every other gift guide. Consider it your cheat sheet for December, chic, easy, and miles better than a last-minute scramble.
Heidi Middleton’s ARTCLUB
ARTCLUB opening on James Street feels like such a natural extension of Brisbane’s fashion scene – thoughtful, creative, and quietly elevated. Heidi Middleton’s pieces always have that hand-finished, art-meets-fashion sensibility, and seeing them in a space that reflects her slow, intentional approach just works. The collection feels personal and expressive without being over the top – wearable pieces with soul, made for people who care as much about the story as the style.
Kate & Kole Gold Coast Residency
To mark ten years, Kate & Kole hosted a dreamy residency inside a Mondrian Gold Coast hotel suite – a quiet, luxurious space filled with diamonds, soft light, and that signature Kate & Kole refinement. Maison Essentiele joined the moment with their silk pieces, adding an easy, intimate layer to the setting, while the brand’s bridal edit took centre stage. The whole experience felt calm, considered, and beautifully personal – a celebration of craftsmanship done the Kate & Kole way.
Introducing Tohen
Tohen is one of those brands that slips easily into your everyday wardrobe. Minimal, modern, and quietly refined, the pieces are simple but considered – clean lines, easy silhouettes, and fabrics that actually feel good on. It has that “I didn’t overthink this, but it works” energy, offering versatile staples you can wear a dozen different ways. Thoughtful, timeless, and genuinely wearable, Tohen is all about dressing that supports your day rather than dictating it.
With Jéan’s Astéri
Astéri marks a nice shift for With Jéan – longer hems, soft tailoring, relaxed knits, and pieces that feel polished without losing that signature ease. It’s a little more grown-up, a little more refined, but still very wearable. The kind of collection you can style up or down without much effort, and everything falls into that looks put together but still comfortable category we all chase.
St Agni x Vermeer Studio
St Agni and Vermeer Studio have come together on a jewellery collaboration that feels perfectly aligned – modern, restrained, and quietly luxurious. The collection pairs raw materials with refined craftsmanship, mixing clear quartz, black onyx, agate, dark timber, and sterling silver with subtle touches like Japanese seed beads. The result is sculptural but soft, minimal but textured, and designed to sit seamlessly alongside St Agni’s Resort ’26 pieces. Elevated, wearable, and the kind of jewellery that adds something without overpowering anything.
Luv Lou x Ash Holmes
This collab captures pure Northern Beaches energy – sun-washed mornings, iced coffees, salt in the air, and that soft, artsy glow Ash Holmes does so well. The frames are easy and flattering, with just enough personality to lift an outfit without overpowering it. Light, wearable, and quietly nostalgic in the nicest way.
Summi Summi Resort ‘26
La Palma is Summi Summi in its most escape-ready mode – soft colours, breezy shapes, and that warm, slow holiday mood woven into every piece. Nothing feels fussy or overworked; it’s all ease and softness, like clothing designed for the best version of a summer day. Throw-on-and-go pieces that make you feel like you’re already on holiday.
