This Fine Jewellery Collab From Two LA Icons Proves Aussie Girls Do It Best

Anyone who’s moved abroad knows Aussies have a knack for finding each other, and in this case it’s resulted in the creation of a limited-edition fine jewellery collection that redefines timeless and accessible luxury.
LA-based and Aussie-founded brands Heaven Mayhem and Real Fine Studio have teamed up to launch a fine jewellery capsule of essential pieces, featuring a tennis necklace, tennis bracelet, and studs. Crafted from 925 sterling silver and adorned with lab-grown moissanite, the elegant range is the epitome of wearable luxury.

Heaven Mayhem is founded by Pia Mance who moved to LA in 2022 and has built a cult-following for her contemporary collections that includes Sofia Richie Grainge, Hailey Bieber and Rosie Huntington-Whitley. Meanwhile, Real Fine Studio by Brissy girl Eliza O’Connor is known for meticulously handcrafting future heirloom pieces with a distinct direct-to-client approach.
Below, we spoke to Eliza about what inspired the collab, the design process, and how the collab is supporting a cause close to home:
How did this collab come about?
We were at an event, and I was wearing my Heaven Mayhem knot earrings. Pia came over and said, “Wait, I need a tennis bracelet!” and we just had this lightbulb moment. From there, the collab was born – it just made sense.
Why do you think your brands are such a great match?
We’d like to think the Real Fine girl and the Heaven Mayhem girl are one and the same – refined, polished, and effortlessly stylish. They have fun with their style, always finishing every outfit with their favorite Real Fine and Heaven pieces.
What’s the vibe when you’re working together: calm and creative, or chaotic and fun?
I’d describe it as chaotic yet fun, and surprisingly easy and seamless. It’s been amazing working together, especially since we’re both Australian girls living in LA!

What’s one thing you’ve learned from each other?
I love Pia’s motto “done is better than perfect” – I’ve started implementing it into my daily life and it keeps things moving!

Intentional, effortless and cool.
Can you share a bit about the partnership process?
From my end, I feel like we both put trust in each other’s skills – I really trusted Pia’s creative direction and the knowledge she has of her audience. In the same token, Pia trusted my technical capability and knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones and settings.
Tell us more about donating to the LA fires…
LA is our home, and both Real Fine Studio and Heaven Mayhem are proud to be LA-based brands. Seeing the devastating impact of the fires on our community has been heartbreaking, with so many lives affected. We’re donating a portion of the proceeds from this collaboration to relief efforts that support those who need it most in our community.
