Brisbane’s fashion savvy will be running a race of their own this Brisbane Racing Carnival.
The popular Indooroopilly Shopping Centre Fashions on the Field competition is back, with the prizes on offer sure to impress.
This year over $25,000 in prizes are up for grabs, including major prize packs from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, Ambassador Travel, GDL watches, Secrets Shhh and Treasury Wine.
Traditionally known as ladies day, the Treasury Casino & Hotel Oaks Day will host the largest prize pools of the carnival.
The Fashions on the Field competition is likely to see a lot of feminine looks in floral and lace during Oaks Day, whereas black and white with a splash of red has become a signature look featured on AAMI Stradbroke Day.
And the studs off the track haven’t been forgotten either, with the Best Dressed Couple category to be held on James Boag’s Premium Doomben 10,000 Day and Best Dressed Male category held on AAMI Stradbroke Day.
On Doomben, Oaks and Stradbroke race days the garden party atmosphere of the fashion precinct will entertain racegoers with a Champagne bar and live DJ performances.
Fashionistas attending the racing carnival can view all the excitement of the Fashions on the Field competition within the comfort of the stylish Peacock Lane Fashion marquee, which also comes with a three-course menu, delicious drinks and a little pampering from supplied make-up artists.
Tickets for the Peacock Lane Fashion Marquee can be purchased for Treasury Casino & Hotel Oaks Day for $200 pp and tickets for the AAMI Stradbroke Day are $220 pp.
