What jeans should you be wearing this season?

An absolute wardrobe staple, we can’t live without our jeans. With endless possibilities of styles to choose from, we’ve put together a list to help you choose the best looks for this Winter.

Skinny Lady

Add a touch of elegance to your favourite skinnies by adding some classic tailoring or a tweed jacket as seen on Cameron Diaz.

Step away from the black pants!

Brighten up your winter wardrobe with a splash of colour. You’d be amazed at how many things go with a pair of red skinnies. If you’re not feeling quite so bold, try a softer hue like this pastel pink pair from Ksubi.

Stopping short

Show a little skin (on your ankle that is....) and try a cropped jean. Great for longer or shorter legs – pair them with an ankle strap pump, sandal or sandal bootie. Perfect for a bright Brisbane winter’s day!

Love thy boyfriend

We love our boyfriend jeans. They cover any flaw and accentuate femininity with their relaxed and comfortable fit. Easy to wear and impossibly chic when paired with your fave heels and a tailored jacket, or slip on a pair of ballet flats for effortless weekend style.

Putting the boot in

An enduring and classic style, the boot cut jean is back! A more comfortable and relaxed option to the skinny jean, the innately flattering properties of a high-waist, slimmed thigh and slightly flared hem that can hide a divine leg-lengthening heel creates a gorgeous slim yet curvy silhouette. Try this indigo pair from JeansWest.

Taking it Higher

If you have a defined waist, or a bootilicious batootie, you can NOT go past the high waisted jean. Favourite of celeb stylist Rachel Zoe, opt for a wider leg style with a button down shirt and ruby red manicure, or if you’re really daring – try Candice Swanepoel’s version of the “Mom” jeans with a cosy cropped top.
