Fallow | Brisbane

For more than 10 years, Fallow has been a destination that introduces Brisbane to a hard-to-find and unseen selection of clothing and fragrances that are far from the conforms of popular trends. At the forefront of esoteric accessories, Fallow breaths a breath of fresh and unexpected air into the industry and continues to impress with its wide range of jewellery collections. Fallow believes in the ‘buy less, choose well’ ethos and is truly a place for those who seek unique jewellery pieces that are made by hand with passion.

Robert White Jewellers | Brisbane

Since 1974, Robert White Jewellers has been handcrafting jewellery in the historic Brisbane Arcade. From a young age, Robert’s daughter Hannah and son James were instilled with an admiration of fine jewellery, which has led the pair work alongside their father in the family-run business today. At Robert White Jewellers you won’t just find an impeccable collection of handcrafted jewellery in-store but also have the chance to discuss how the team can create a bespoke design for something truly unique. Known for sourcing exceptional jewels, Robert White Jewellers involves clients in each step of the process, from drafting a design and choosing stones to final fittings before completion. With a passion for the craft, you can trust that Robert White Jewellers understand that no two customers’ needs are the same and so no two pieces they create will be identical. When it comes to fine jewellery, everything from bangles, bracelets, earrings and rings to Australian pink diamonds, Australian South Sea Pearls and Tahitian Pearls, the team at Robert White Jewellers never settle for second best.

Orion’s Belt | Brisbane

Australian made contemporary jewellery just got another serious competitor. Handcrafting only the finest of jewels from her home office, designer Lucy Kelly has a serious affiliation with the ocean that’s reflected in her creations. Waves are Lucy’s speciality, with gold and silver gorgeously melded to reflect the fluidity of the sea. These high-quality pieces are not only sustainable but also ethical, respecting the origins of craftsmanship with recycling and ethically sourced gems. Venturing out solo after years of working for Australian labels, Orion’s Belt exudes quality. Expect emerald and deep brown spheres on most pieces and get ready for an influx of compliments. From coastal seaweed formations to sleek silver waves, Lucy moulds organic shapes around coral treasures. Best of all, they are all made-to-order, helping to break the cycle of negligent consumerism. We think it’s pretty darn special knowing exactly who’s making the jewellery you’re wearing. P.S. We’re obsessed with the Orpheus hat pin and the Lucinda Earrings!
