This Is Your Chance To See David Attenborough’s Blue Planet 2 Backed By A Live Orchestra

Take a deep breath…

By Melissa Myrteza | 24th October 2018

The unspoken mystery that lies beneath our oceans is equally as enticing as it is frightening. With more than 70% of our planet’s surface covered in ocean, there is a substantial amount of unreachable ground left only to nature to roam. For those of us who don’t go recreational diving, what lies below sea level remains a constant mystery, but one that never seems to lose its appeal. From rarely photographed giant squids to whales reaching up to thirty metres in length, it still astounds us that there are depths that haven’t been reached and crevasses yet to be explored.

Sir David Attenborough’s Blue Planet II is taking to Australian screens in 2019. Accompanied by a live symphony orchestra performing the ever-incredible music of cinematic god Hans Zimmer, there is no soundtrack more appropriate for these mesmerising 4K Ultra HD scenes.

While we have all religiously watched The Little Mermaid and Atlantis, Attenborough is a small leap ahead in terms of sheer knowledge and underwater footage. This truly inspiring adventurer has captured the hearts of Australians and continues to stimulate us to learn more about our beautiful blue planet.

We may be swapping out Attenborough’s wondrously recognisable husky vocals, but Joanna Lumley’s addictively smooth British accent is a pretty solid replacement. Live on stage in Aus for the first time EVER, we are ready to watch Lumley do Attenborough proud. Girl power!

Featuring spectacular scenes from the hypnotic TV series, Blue Planet, you can get yourself pumped for this event by catching up on season one, now on Netflix!

If you’re after a dash of luxe to make this event even more extraordinary, opt for the VIP package that will get you a professional photograph with Joanna herself, a premium drink and canapé selection, the best seats in the house, a souvenir programme and so much more!

You can let go of that breath now.
