West End’s Russell Street is shutting down and letting the local art scene shine this weekend in Brisbane. As Brissy’s first dedicated street festival and market celebrating urban art and design, these guys are ready to put on a fest you won’t easily forget. The day is set to include 100+ market stalls, which showcasing the best works of our art community as well as over 30 street food stalls to enjoy as you browse the works. Tickets are $10 at the door or $5 presale and you’ll definitely be getting your money’s worth with competitions, loads of activities and live entertainment all day.
Brisbane Burger Fest | Sat, Oct 21
Grab the day with both hands as Stone & Wood and The Triffid bring you Brisbane’s first burger festival, Burger Fest. Featuring all your local faves, this weekend in Brisbane you can expect to see the classics you know and love as well as a Burger Fest exclusive burger from each stall – think Ze Pickle, Miss Kay’s, Red Hook and Ben’s Burgers to name a few. This is a free event and will include live tunes all day as well as a burger eating comp or two – sign me up!
