Albion Antique and Collectables Fair
If you appreciate antiques and collectables, you need to get yourself to the Albion Antique and Collectables Fair! You’ll have the opportunity to browse and purchase a variety of high-quality wares such as silverware, Art Deco jewellery, porcelain homewares, traditional furniture and more. This event goes for three days with access to 25 of Brisbane’s finest and antique and collectable dealers under the one roof!

Young Writers’ Boot Camp
Join TV scriptwriter and young adult novelist Fiona Wood at the Queensland Writers Centre this Saturday for the Young Writers’ Boot Camp! You’ll learn how to write dialogue, create new worlds and characters and learn the ingredients of good storytelling.

Brisbane BBQ Festival
If the thought of barbecuing sends you into another place, you can’t go past the BBQ Festival held at the Brisbane Showgrounds this weekend! You’ll be treated to live demonstrations, plenty of market stalls and workshops, and a meat and BBQ expo. Look out for the food stalls and trucks, including That BBQ Joint, Ze Pickle, German Sausage Hut, How We Rolls and so much more! Wash down your meals with some craft beer from local breweries Newstead Brewing Co and Fortitude Brewing Co and enjoy the live music from John Steel Singers, The Hi Boys, Big Blind Ray and Barksdale Brass Band.

Ice Hockey Classic: USA VS CANADA
The Ice Hockey Classic is back for 2016 with Brisbane hosting the final leg of the event! Watch Team USA and Team Canada hit the ice this Saturday at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The event was huge last year, with thousands of ice hockey fans packing the BEC to see their favourite National Hockey League Stars battle it out. The 2016 Classic will also be raising money for the StopConcussions Foundation in association with Brain Injury Australia.

Broncos Champions For Charity Auction
Head off on a journey across the high seas onboard the S.S Broncos at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Broncos’ marquee fundraiser of the year will include a three-course dinner, premium beverage package and live entertainment. Place a bid on a Hyundai Tucson, cruise holidays and exclusive Broncos experiences and memorabilia, all to raise money for the Brisbane Broncos Charities Fund and the development of Junior Rugby League in Queensland.

Kiss Goodbye To MS Fundraiser Lunch
Blooming Healthy has teamed up with Delectable Food Tours for a two-course fundraiser lunch for multiple sclerosis at Customs House. Get ready for wine, speakers, raffles and amazing company!
