This Friday, Elixir Coffee is taking over King George Square to celebrate their new imported Italian roasting machine. How are they celebrating, you ask? By giving away the elixir of life free coffee! There’s just one catch: you have to get roasted. The sharp-witted and charming yet insult-slinging Italian roaster and award-winning comedian James Liotta will be at the pop-up coffee cart to dish out some cheeky banter. What could be better than having fun for a good cause? HeartKids is hosting the perfect family-friendly event this Friday afternoon. Whether you’re a natural barefoot-bowler or just looking to have fun with friends, a BBQ filled with steak, onions, sausages and salad (all included in the entry cost). HeartKids is a not-for-profit organisation that supports families of children with cardiac conditions and congenital heart defects.

Got a passion for riding under a starlit sky? No? How about riding for a great cause? Ride the Night is joining Brisbane for the first time ever! Supporting the work of Brisbane Youth Service and Bicycle Network, this fundraiser event will see you riding through the night when the clock hits midnight on Sunday, January 31. Riders will have seven hours to complete the 65-kilometre route, touring Brisbane’s most iconic landmarks with entertainment stops along the way for rest, fuel, music and more. Challenge yourself or encourage someone you know to give this unique event a go!
