I’m about to seriously nerd out. Who else has not been more excited about an event, well, ever? GOMA is bringing our Marvel dreams to life at South Brisbane. Five hundred artworks from Marvel's archives and private collections? *Insert crazy eyes here. Get ready to see some of the faves: Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and their allies and adversaries.
This exhibition will definitely be something to Marvel at.
COSY WINTERS BY REKORDERLIG POP-UP | FRI, JUN 2-SUN, JUL 30
Winter is well and truly settling in upon us. Why not sip a little hot cider to keep ourselves warm? Rekorderlig is setting up the pop-up event Cosy Winters at the Regatta Hotel, Toowong. Roll up and try their current signature: Spiced Apple cider. Feeling especially chilly? There’s going to be hot cider! I’m willing to try it if you are. Chug that cider and try some traditional Swedish dishes to keep that hunger at bay. Ja!

The Melbourne International Jazz Festival turns 20 this year. *Jazz hands! Watch musicians get their jazz on all through Melbourne at this not-for-profit event. The line-up is as impressive as always. Visit multiple venues for some really great vibes and even better music. Jazz festival crawl anyone?

Say cheese! Had a rough week? Or just a week that crawled from Monday to Friday? Cheese Therapy is giving you the chance to indulge yourself at their Bubbles & Brie event at Baedeker Wine Bar in the Valley. The Little Brothers Mussel Festival is approaching. Wear loose pants before you get all the mussels up in your grill. Watch cooking demonstrations, eat a mussel. Listen to live music, eat a mussel.
