Update (Thurs, Oct 04): Due to some awesome feedback, Victoria Park has just announced that they will be hosting the event on Saturday, Oct 27, instead of the previously announced Wednesday, Oct 31. This means you can cut loose on the dance floor and order that third cocktail, and not have to worry about stripping off your costume makeup for work on Thursday. Score!
There are really only two types of people when it comes to Halloween. Those who deadlock their doors, pretend to be out when trick or treaters pass their house and those who have had their costume planned for months, enjoy parties where everything is decorated, and who send over-enthusiastic e-vites with subject lines like, “Grab your fake blood because the countdown is on for our TERRIFYINGLY good Halloween party!”
If you’re anything like the latter, you’ll die from excitement when you hear that Victoria Park is hosting an epically spooky Halloween Monsters Ball! Grab your scariest costume because this is the only way to do Halloween this year.
If you want to celebrate the spookiest day of the year, the Halloween Monsters Ball guarantees to be the biggest Halloween event on Brisbane’s calendar. For $99pp, you can enjoy a 4-hour beverage package as well as plenty of food and canapé stations. Sip on a Blood Bellini or Witches Brew cocktail upon arrival, then boogie down on the dance floor to live tunes courtesy of DJ extraordinaire Emma Lancaster. There will also be frightfully scary live performers roving the party, as well as a haunted photo booth so that you can catch pics of your terrifying costumes. Top tip: if you book your ticket before 30 September they’ll sort you out with a cheeky second cocktail upon arrival!
So, what are you waiting for? Hit up your group chat and start organising your costumes STAT! This Halloween party is going to be a spooktacular event that you don’t want to miss out on.
