The Annual YMCA Rat Race is Back

The YMCA Rat Race is the cheesy charity event of the season with obstacles like The Rat Trap, the Ratatouille Rebel, the Cheese Squeeze, and the Big Cheese.

The YMCA Rat Race is a fun and friendly obstacle course event set along the Brisbane River designed for participants of any fitness level. The Team Event features 14 obstacles over 8km for people over 13. There is also a Family Event including 8 obstacles over 4km which is designed for ages 7-12 with at least one accompanying adult.

The YMCA Rat Race supports the YMCA’s School’s Breakfast Program which is free of charge for all children and is a school based program which aims to reduce the number of students disadvantaged by hunger and poor nutrition.

The event starts at 7:30am and goes till 5pm. Team events start from $84 per person and Family events start at $106.80 per team. Get down to Kangaroo Point on the 15th of October for fitness and charity! Booking closes 9pm on the 10th of October.
