The Tragedy of King Richard III

The Tragedy of King Richard III

By Guest Styler | 10th May 2016

Take a seat at La Boite Theatre Company for an excavation of Shakespeare’s greatest villain, Richard III. Described as a crippled king, fierce warrior and cunning psychopath, this character has been loved and loathed for four loathed for four centuries.

This is a story of rampant revenge with some hard questions: What are our dreams of power? Have we created a civilisation that corrupts those who rule it? Or do we need their corruption to let us off the hook?

This show promises to be a fast and furious blood-soaked battle royale armed with some of Queensland's most fearless theatre makers. Will any character make it out alive? You’ll have to watch to find out.
