Set to be a decadent night of luxury and extravagance, Harcourts has rolled out the red carpet for the 2017 Butterfly Ball.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘A Night Under the Cherry Blossoms’ in celebration of Japanese culture and in particular it’s iconic cherry-coloured bloom. Known as a picturesque yet delicate flower, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and beauty of life – a fitting theme for the ball.

With live auctions being one of the key features of the night, you won’t be afraid to splash a bit of cash knowing it’s all for a good cause.

The Harcourts Foundation Butterfly Ball supports the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital’s most precious, yet most fragile patients – babies. The money raised on the night will go towards purchasing new equipment and technology for the hospital’s neonatal unit as well as help fund medical research in conditions such as stillbirth, prematurity and birth-related injury.

The Harcourts Foundation Butterfly Ball attracts over 400 guests and has raised more than $250,000 over the past four years for the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Perinatal Research Centre.

Other features of the night include, competitions and giveaways – let’s just say an international flight is on the cards. As well as live entertainment and guest speakers, you can expect to experience a night you won’t forget.

Even though tickets are $200 a pop, you won’t feel a hint of guilt knowing you’re helping save lives and support amazing research. So, slip into your best dress or fasten your favourite tie for a night under the cherry blossoms, or more importantly, for a good cause.
