The riverside suburban streets of Teneriffe will be transformed into a celebration of community, rich heritage, and culture for one day, and one day only. Yep, the iconic Brisbane Teneriffe Festival 2024 has just been announced for Saturday, 8 June.
What to expect
Stretching along Vernon Terrace and spilling onto Macquarie Street, this fun-filled festival will offer endless dining and beverage options, along with a variety of activations and stellar musical acts. Boasting food stalls from some of Brisbane’s finest, the only thing that can rival the impressive variety of eateries is the music lineup!
While the majority of the lineup is still under wraps for now, the knockout headliners have been locked in: Melbourne-based funk band, The Cat Empire and hip-hop group, Thundamentals. Sure to bring the vibes, we can’t wait to find out who else will be joining the bill.
Since its creation in 2010, it’s no surprise that the Teneriffe Festival has continued to draw over 50,000 visitors and loyal locals every year. With its array of market stalls, unique entertainment, and the opportunity to eat and drink pretty much everywhere you turn, the festival has garnered a devoted following. And with festivities kicking off from 10am and going until 9pm, this year is bound to be another epic one.
But fear not, the celebrations aren’t just for the grown-ups to enjoy! A kids zone and dedicated kids program promises activities for people of all ages. An event where the little ones can have a blast while the adults let loose? Count us in.
