Tipsy For Townsville: Get Ready To Sip On Cocktails For A Cause

It’s time to get into the spirit of a Queenslander and help our friends in need.

By Courtney Frank | 14th February 2019

If you didn’t already know, the city of Townsville (and it’s surrounds) was recently ravaged by a one in 500-year weather event that destroyed the city and caused millions of dollars’ worth of damages.

Our hearts broke as we watched families being evacuated, homes going underwater, businesses closing their doors, properties losing their livestock and countless other hardships being endured by our neighbours up North. But did all of that knock them down? Not a chance.

So, as is the spirit of a Queenslander, it’s our duty to help out in any way possible!

Which is why, we believe it’s more important than ever to dig deep into those pockets and help out our North Queensland friends.

In partnership with The Osbourne Hotel, we’re hosting a fundraising event to raise money for flood ravaged Townsville and we need your help. Get down to The Osbourne Hotel on Friday 1st March from 5pm and do your part to help out a city who so desperately needs it.

There’ll be a drink on arrival, a customised Townsville themed cocktail for purchase, plus plenty of personalities to meet and prizes to be won. The best part? It’s all for a bloody good cause.

When: Friday 1st March, 2019.
Where: The Osbourne Hotel, Fortitude Valley.
Time: 5pm – 7.30pm.
Cost: $20 per person.

Pre-purchase your tickets here.
