Brisbane’s favourite street festival will celebrate their sixth year this Sunday the 5th of May, bringing the streets of the popular inner city suburb to life! The Stones Corner Festival is back and bigger than ever with plenty of food, beer and entertainment, making for the perfect Sunday afternoon.
With a number of popular Queensland acts and national stars in attendance, the line-up on the day will include Jebediah, Area-7, Darren Middleton of Powderfinger, Cheap Fakes, The VanKeys, We All Want To and many more! And if you feel the need to be a part of the action, warm up your vocal cords and join in the ever so hilarious pub choir!
Grab a bite to eat (or a few) with Brisbane’s favourite food trucks offering plenty of tasty eats including wood-fired pizzas, loaded fries, wings, Greek street food and churros, of course. 20 of the finest craft brews from across Australia including Ballistic Beer Co, Fortitude Brewing Company and Aether Brewing will also be available for purchase. And don’t worry, the little ones won’t miss out! There will be plenty of fun for them too, with a jumping castle, petting zoo and face painting! The best part? General entry is free!
But if you want to get in on the VIP action, Gage Roads have a limited number of VIP packages up for grabs, with access to the restricted VIP area, premium viewing of the live performances, a private bar and facilities as well as complimentary canapes and $50 of festival money to spend at the bar!
If all that isn’t enough of a reason to come to the fabulous festival, the event runs in support of the MND and Me Foundation, who assist Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease, so you can indulge knowing it’s for a good cause.
With delicious festival food, locally-brewed beverages and some of the state’s best music acts, it’s a celebration not to be missed!
