Look up into the unknown with some stargazing as part of this year’s World Science Festival. Happening on Saturday 16 March at the Workshops Rail Museum, it’s a star event not to be missed! So, have a chair or blanket handy on you, bring along some snacks and drinks and get ready to immerse yourself in the diamonds of the Ipswich night sky! Stargazing Event In Ipswich
No telescope? No problem. You don’t need to be an experienced stargazer to have fun. The Brisbane Astronomical Society is supplying telescopes for you to traverse and pinpoint the constellations of the universe. Plus, there will also be Brisbane Astronomical Society members on site to help out newbies with identifying the stars. You can also find on their website to help you learn how to use their equipment.
Entry is free, but booking is required, so hurry and grab a spot for a magical night. With two sessions running at 6:30pm and 7:30pm, there’s a time suitable for everyone.
