A Second-Hand Fashion Market Is Coming To The Coast!

Because second-hand doesn’t mean second-best.

The Gold Coast Fashion Market Weekend is taking place this April 13th and 14th, hosted by Her Wardrobe Markets! Established in 2015, the weekend-long second-hand fashion market has been gaining traction with every year that’s passed, ensuring that 2019 is going to be the biggest market yet!

There’s over 60 local stallholders selling their goodies, ranging from everyday people to fashion stylists and boutique owners. The sale will be happening at the Albert Waterways Community Centre, located across from Pacific Fair on the corners of Sunshine and Hooker Boulevard.

The event will run from 9am to 1pm both days, with free entry to all shoppers into the event that can only be described as pure heaven! There will be 10,000 items of new and pre-loved clothes, accessories, and shows up for grabs at bargain prices. When the strolling and shopping leaves you famished, you can find coffee and snacks from the plentiful food vans available all day!

Second-hand shopping is the sustainable way to shop and save, giving you the perfect opportunity to refresh your wardrobe in time for winter. The ‘Her Wardrobe Markets’ community aim to not only support local sellers, but to do so in a way that doesn’t add to the rapidly increasing environmental problem of textile waste.

Make a date with your mates and head to the markets to pick up some incredible bargains!
