World Chocolate Day is a global tribute, uniting all lovers in a collective celebration of the humble cocoa bean. Whether rich, nutty, dark or light gets you going, mark your calendars because Sunday, July 7 is your chance to appreciate that glorious block in your fridge for what it truly is: a life source. Brisbane’s only Chocolate Festival, ChocFest at Portside Wharf, is the perfect place to let your sweet tooth loose and show no shame in your devotion to all things choc.

Get ready to indulge in a day of decadent desserts and chocolate coated creations from 10am to the extended time of 4pm with pop-up chocolate stalls, chocolate cocktails and live music releasing an unprecedented number of endorphins. For the youngsters, expect hot chocolates that will settle the most stubborn of tantrums, plus loads of freebies like face painting, balloon sculpting and chocolate cookies picked straight from an incredible gigantic cookie tree! But, you will have to be quick as there are only 500 up for grabs.
