Nom Nom is expanding, once again, and we love it! With the recent opening of Nom Nom Bao on Warner Street, adding to the Nom Nom Korean Eatery and Nom Nom Ramen & Sake Bar restaurants next door in Bakery Lane, these siblings are building an Asian empire in Fortitude Valley. And to celebrate their opening, Nom Nom Bao are giving away 100 free bao’s on Friday, September 7, from 6pm!
Mother/owner Philip Kim knows what she’s doing when it comes to Asian fusion cuisine. Tucked away in Warner Street, this street-style menu of Bao’s is exactly what we need when our cravings are all over the place. With customer favourites like pork belly with hoisin sauce and teriyaki fried chicken on offer, the hardest part will be choosing! Other options include galabi beef with kimchi slaw, succulent tofu for the vego’s and miso cured cod. Enough said.
Nom Nom Bao’s are literally bursting with flavoursome fillings, making that first soft bite unforgettable. There is even a dessert option of bao ice cream (yes, we too are intrigued) with the freshest seasonal fruits on offer. Wash it all down with some serious bubble milk tea for the ultimate Asian foodie experience. This new hot-spot for Bao’s is Bris is an authentic slice of Asia, right at our doorstep.
While there is only one bao per person, with a launch giveaway selection from the chicken, pork or vegetarian options, there is nothing stopping you from satisfying those craving and ordering a few more! $13 for two bao’s - there is simply no better deal in town. Otherwise, pop next door for some ramen or authentic Korean cuisine after your entre for a sit-down dining experience!
