New Farm Deli Is Back, Baby! The Grand Reopening You Don’t Want To Miss

A new dawn in New Farm

By Georgie Murray | 26th November 2019

One of Merthyr Village’s favourites, New Farm Deli, was sadly ravished by a fire earlier this year. Now, they’re back and better than ever! With a celebration, comes a party! Consider this your personal invitation to join the New Farm community to celebrate and support the grand reopening of New Farm Deli.

From 6am to 11am on Friday, in true Italian style, the day will kick-off with a fanfare of festivities with plenty of delicious Italian food, special pop-up stalls serving pastries, focaccia’s, Panini’s, jumping castles and face painting while live music and entertainment will continue weekend-long, to really get the party going.

To further celebrate, Merthyr Village is giving away a holiday to Italy worth $20K! To enter for your chance to be on your way to Positano, Milan or Rome, visit Merthyr Village across the reopening weekend or enter here.

In the spirit of giving thanks and paying it forward, New Farm Deli will donate all proceeds from every single coffee purchased between 6am and 11am to the Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland Inc., which given the recent devastating events, need as many donations as possible.

Vince and Maria Anello, owners of the much-loved deli, will be cutting the ribbon to officially reopen at 9am, and from there, it will be long-awaited business as usual!

Established in 1975, the deli has become the hub of Merthyr Village, so get ready to party from morning until night.

For more information about the reopening and the trip to Italy, you can read more here.

Ciao and see you there!
