Melbourne’s famous After Dark series is making its way up north to the River City for one night only, and it’s bringing a hoard of the city’s best artists and eats along for the ride.

Brisbanites will be able to get a taste of Melbourne nightlife without leaving their own city at Melbourne After Dark this week.

In a series of one-off pop-up events, popping up in capital cities across the country, Melbourne After Dark will showcase some of the city’s most exciting live music acts, food, drink, arts and entertainment experiences.

Taking place in Brisbane on Wednesday, November 29 at Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall, the event will offer Brisbane locals the unique experience to explore the undiscovered secrets of Melbourne, all under one roof.

Said to feature a twist at every turn, capturing iconic tastes, sounds and artwork from the city with live music from Melbourne artist Remi, Saskwatch and The Delta Riggs DJ set, mouth-watering burgers from renowned Huxtaburger and bespoke cocktails straight from the laneways of Melbourne.

The new Twist at Every Turn campaign reminds Australians that Melbourne is a city that is always on, always evolving in the best possible way, so any visit is an adventure towards uncovering its many layers and depth of experiences,” Peter Bingeman, CEO of Visit Victoria said of the event.
