Get Ready to Zen Out Because Meditation With Baby Goats and Lambs Is Coming To Brisbane!

Meditation with a cute twist.

By Kristen Foster | 17th July 2018

When you think meditation, you usually envision sitting cross-legged in a peaceful scene right?

Well now, the world of meditation is shaking up with a totally different type of meditation on offer. Delve Meditation are bringing a meditation workshop to Brisbane with a world-first twist - ‘Breathe in & Bleat Out… Meditating with Lambs’. It’s regular ol’ meditation with a cute and fuzzy twist by bringing baby goats and lambs to the scene to keep you in the moment with light-hearted interactions.

The first part of the session is completely baby goat and lamb free so you’re not distracted from the animal cuteness. You’ll learn simple and fundamental meditation and relaxation techniques for your everyday life. Then when you’re completely blissed out, they will bring out the little cute fur balls so you can practice being aware of the current moment. This allows you to learn to be completely present with whatever life throws at you, you are able to realise your situation and be in a state of bliss at any time.

Think of it as animal therapy!

Concerned about how the baby animals will handle … Not to worry, the little cuties are sourced from Little Critters Mobile Farm and Rescue Centre. So no animals will suffer as a result of the meditation event.

Love baby animals and love cuddles? If it sounds like your thing, you’re in luck because this world-first ‘Meditating With Lambs’ event is happening in Brisbane next month! Bleat In and Bleat Out will be held on the 25th of August at Delve Meditation, 46 Evesham St, Moorooka. Come along to experience something new. All yogi experience and levels are welcome! All you need to bring along is a yoga mat and a cushion. They’ll provide the baby animals!

Get ready to totally zen out!

Some would say she is one of those typical millennials; trying to make a living off being creative, spending too much time on their phone, and you guessed it - orders a good ol’ avocado toast for brunch far too often. When she’s not hustling hard, you can see Kristen socialising around Brisbane and having a laugh while sipping on a cheeky Gin and Tonic.
