Like shopping? You’ll LOVE this

If a night of food and fashion sounds like your idea of bliss, then the James Street Marie Claire Up Late event deserves a spot on your social calendar!

For the sixth consecutive year, retailers on James Street will be treating shoppers to a deluxe fashion experience.

Featured guests will include David Jones ambassador Jesinta Franklin, plus the designers and creative directors of Aje, Lucy Folk, Dinosaur Designs and Assembly Label.

Key figures from the Marie Claire editorial team will be on standby to meet their readers and discuss the new-season trends.

This year’s Marie Claire Up Late event coincides with the grand opening of Brisbane’s newest David Jones store.

David Jones James Street will be only the second of its kind in Australia, with a new, small-scale layout that neatly curates a boutique shopping experience.

Brisbane David Jones fans, this means you’ll find all your favourite fashion and homeware brands neatly edited into a floorspace roughly a quarter of the size of the current Toowong location.

Lucky shoppers will have the opportunity to snap up one of the 1000 gift bags on offer; collection stations will be teasingly unveiled during the night.

Some of your favourite bars and restaurants along the James Street precinct will be hosting after-parties, with special drink offers and late-night activations.

Plus, street style photographers will be roaming the venue, while DJs will provide the perfect shopping soundtrack.

Warm up your winter wardrobe by enjoying store-wide discounts, giveaways, and exclusive opening-night offers.

Grab the girls for some twilight shopping, and kick your weekend off early!
