Homemaker the Valley is our Fortitude Valley hub for homewares. With our favourite labels like Adairs, TK Maxx, Domayne, Sheridan and Kitchen Warehouse as some of the many retailers making up the north and south centres, your every home need is in the one central location. When you’re not up for battling hundreds of crazed shoppers leaving Westfields, there is simply no better option.
In celebration of the change of season, Homemaker the Valley is hosting a Pop-Up Party! This free event will welcome the local community on Sunday, May 5. From 10am to 5pm, the centre will be a shopper’s galore, ready for workshops, massive hourly giveaways, delectable food trucks and so much more. Juniors will be entertained all day with face painting and balloon artists working their magic while adults wander the stores, admiring the autumn hues and trends. From barista lessons and knife sharpening tips to fitness techniques and decluttering tricks, there is somewhere to be every hour! If you’re in need of a little interior styling touch-up, learn from the best with a special celebrity hands-on styling session!
Get ready for one of Homemaker The Valley’s biggest retail stores to be transformed by eager homeowners and budding stylists. Carlene Duffy is the queen of interiors with a background on the Block, Ready Set Reno, Open Homes and her current role working as an interior stylist at Cedar and Suede. Carlene will be sharing her styling expertise on the current seasonal trends in one of our favourite homeware stores, Adairs! While it’s free, you will need to secure yourself a free spot via the Facebook event before they book out! This is set to be an event to remember.
