Festitalia is back for an 11th year bringing the best of Italian food, music and culture to Brisbane. Backed by the Italian Consulate – so you know you are getting authentic Italian food and cultural history, the whole family should be prepared for a traditional Italian festival and a whole lot of food and fun.

With some of the best Italian restaurants and food trucks in south-east Queensland totalling over 30 food vendors dishing up delights such as wood fired pizza, all kinds of pasta, gelati, cannoli and biscotti you had better invest in some stretchy pants so you can sample everything on offer. La Cucina Mobile, Miss Piadina, Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers and Fuel By Salt Meats Cheese, are just a few of the vendors in attendance showcasing their wares.

The espresso will be flowing and there’s even cannoli and gelato eating contests on the day for those who just can’t get enough of the good stuff. Plus loads of live entertainment from the likes of the Gruppo Storico Fivizzano Flagthrowers, the Brisbane Tarantella Dancers, music from The Two Italian Guys plus roaming Commedia dell’Arte characters adorned in traditional venetian character masks.

So gear up to carb-load at Festitalia on Sunday, October 8 at Spencer Park, Newmarket.
