If you’re a lover of all things Spanish, you’ll be excited to know that Flamenco The Dance, a red carpet gala showcasing the sights, sounds and colours of Spain, is coming to Brisbane this month!
Bringing the vibrant energy and life of La Piel de Toro to Brisbane’s iconic Princess Theatre, Flamenco The Dance will immerse guests in Spanish culture thanks to an exclusive Flamenco performance by Hernandez Tamayo, live Spanish music and a delectable Spanish feast courtesy of Ole Spanish Restaurant & Bar. Indulge in Tapas, Raciones and desserts as well as a mouth-watering selection of amazing Spanish wines.
The evening will also include a runway show featuring some of the most stunning looks from the Angels With Wings 2018 Showcase set to take place in Melbourne later this year. The angle-themed runway includes Couture, Ready To Wear, Swimwear and Headpiece categories. Featured designers include Coo Culte Australia, an international couture label from Latvia; Typico Style Bikinis, a Gold Coast-based swimwear designer; Husk & Vine, a Brisbane-based headpiece designer; and Angel Wing’s, featuring Dressed AU’s own team member, resident production designer James Flett. The runway will give guests the chance to enjoy a sneak peek of what’s to come when Angels With Wings takes to the runway this October in Melbourne!
Following some drinking, dining and plenty of dancing, guests are invited to make their way to Ole Spanish Restaurant & Bar in South Bank where the after-party will continue until late. Save the last salsa for me!
The event will be emceed by the gorgeous TVSN Presenter Susana Tuya a Sarmiento, with What’s Hot TV media personality Bec McMillan overseeing all the best looks on the red carpet.
The evening is being held to support the incredible work of Mercy Ships Australia, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering free world-class health care services and sustainable to aid to those without access to reliable services. $5 from every ticket will go towards supporting the work of Mercy Ships to allow them to continue doing the work they do. An auction will also take place to help raise much-needed funds.
