It’s not often you get to meet and converse with authors, but QT Gold Coast is giving foodies the chance to do just that with a special luncheon to celebrate the launch of Brenda Fawdon and Christine Sharp’s new book, Eat Local.
Eat Local focuses on food, farming and conversations in the Scenic Rim and encourages people to – you guessed it! – eat local. Locally sourced food is definitely in the spotlight at the moment, and it’s tastier, healthier and better for our health and the local economy.
Authors Brenda Fawdon and Christine Sharp are launching their book exclusively at QT Gold Coast ahead of Scenic Rim Eat Local Week, which runs from June 25 to July 3.
For just $99, join them on the day to learn more about local produce with delicious canapés designed by Brenda and Executive Chef Greg Benney, and a massive lunch in the famed Bazaar Marketplace. All produce will be sourced locally from the Scenic Rim.
